La Vegetariana Loca

Here are some random ramblings of a girl that will probably end up in an insane asylum sometime in her near future...Kookookachoo. She loves her Queen, she loves her Beatles and her Who and her Zeppy and her music in general. She loves her writing. She loves love. And she loves you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Video of the Week

Woohoo! Entry number 150! Groovy.

Well, here's the Video of the Week. I like it. I think it's funny. Lindsay sent it to me. There is some language in it, but it's still good.

Much love!

Three Months, Skittles, The Becks, and James Patrick Page's Promotion

Yes, today was good. Mainly because I remembered to drink coffee this morning. Coffee is good for the soul.

But tea is better.

Speaking of which, I have some Earl Grey...Excuse me whilst I get a cup.

Water's in the microwave right now. ^_^

Anyway, I have one thing I want to say.

It has been three months. Three wonderful months.

Won't tell you what they are of, though. I'm cruel.

Okay. And the Skittles. I just realized how weird I am. Today, I bought a bag of Skittles from the vending machine at school. Okay. No big deal. Skittles are my heroin. So I open the bag. Immediately, people are begging me to share. Before I do, I spill out all of the Skittles on top of my Spanish II book. Then, I group them by color: reds with reds, greens with greens, etc. Next, I organized the Skittles semi-rainbow style: purple, red, orange, yellow, green. Wasn't quite happy. So I made two columns out of each color, each column consisting of four Skittles (stragglers were eaten). Still, I didn't find happiness emanating from my creation. So, I turned every single Skittle over so the "S" was facing upwards, in the same direction. All the while, someone (*coughKYLEcough*) was disrupting the happiness. So I hit him. Over Skittles. I have issues. Then, I ate each Skittle, one by one, starting from the left and working to the right, taking the corresponding Skittle from each group. (ie: all of the Skittles in the bottom right hand corner, for instance).

I think I have it.

Alright! Now about the Becks! I love Beck. But I got really confused recently. Now, I feels stupid.

So, in music, there are two main Becks,

Birth name

I know. I was confused, too. I thought they were the same person, but no. XD I'm so intelligent. And I got those factoids from the most accurate website on the web, Wikipedia. Oh, yeah.

Okay, and as for this wonderful fellow!
Jimmy Page
I am upgrading him to favorite Led Zeppelin member! For a long time, I preferred Percy, but, due to recent events, Plant is being bumped down a notch, and Pagey is taking numero uno. Why, you ask? Well, because he's fantabulous! He's pushing for a Zeppy world tour. So, yes. We are madly in love with Page right now.

And we are buzzing on the caffeine in that Earl Grey...

I need to do my homework.XD

I don't think I've ever been so happy over a lie!

Led Zeppelin
"Led Zeppelin fans will have to wait until fall for a Led Zeppelin world tour, with Robert Plant on tour over the summer, the band must wait until at least September. Don't lose hope though, Jimmy Page is ready to hit the road!"

Excuse me while I squeal.

Pardon me a moment.

Bit more.

Just a bit more...

Okay. I'm good.

Yep. Apparently, Percy lied. The Zeppelin is going to fly again!

I hope.

If this is a ruse, I might shoot myself.

Not really.

Blood is icky.

Can you tell that I just had a litre of Pepsi? XD

Anyway...Yeah. Thought I ought to share.

So...Anyone want to take their best friend Grey to a certain concert?

Video of the Week

Sorry for not posting this week: I was almost killed with homework (My friends can testafy to this! No idea if I spelt that right...but hey! I'm half asleep! So there.) I almost forgot Video of the Week, but I just remembered about five minutes ago, so here it is. Danny (this blog's only regularXD) is on the left, and his older brother, Jaime, is on the right.

I was going to post some more, but...I won't put you through that. I just had a slice of pizza, half a tub of Ben and Jerry's (Magic Brownie flavor, no less), and am being taken over by exhaustion, so...Yeah. I'm not that cruel.

Love you all!

First, before I get too side-tracked, here is le video of the week. This guy makes me giggle.

Yep. I said ugh. I'm having a bad case of the teenage angsts. The kind that I usually make fun of in people. I guess later, I'll be making fun of them in myself. But that'll be when I get over them.

I feel ridiculous, but I'm going to go ahead and say it. It's cliche. It'll make you cringe. Heck, it makes ME cringe.

Nobody understands me.

Let's break out the emo razors!

Alright, let me explain. I wrote a story for a writing contest. It was really emotional for me: when I read it to my mom, I was on the verge of tears. I'm really passionate about the subject it's on, but both of the people I read it to didn't get it. They didn't understand my point. That's alright, I thought. I kinda expected that. But I figured they'd look farther into it, read between the lines or whatever. Well, they didn't. They expected everything to be laid out in front of them. Yes, it should have been. But remember, I'm moping. So of course I'm the victim here!

Perhaps if I was a poet they would have read farther into the meaning. People do that with poems all the time. Rarely is there a poem that you don't have to analyze before you understand the full meaning. Prose? Not so much. People get lazy with prose. It all has to be there, most usually. It's like there's no room for interpretation.

Well, my story, though written in prose, was written in the format of poetry, whereas it had different verses and a repeating refrain. Each different verse describes a different scene. My characters are by-and-large anonymous: I wanted it that way so it would seem like what was happening in the story could happen to anybody. Not just Joe up the street. Anybody. So that was my point.

So...yeah. I think I'm going to enter another piece. Not sure what. I got second place last year in the county in this competition, and that was using a light, airy story about a father trying to gain the understanding of his daughter. I can't picture myself writing something that light anymore: the only humor I can choke out anymore isn't slapstick or situational like it used to be, but dark, twisted. The last funny scene I wrote was a murder. Seriously, I wrote a murder scene that made people bust out laughing.

I guess I'll write something about a puppy.

Yes, I know I'm a bit of a sell out, but you know what? If you want to succeed, you've gotta sell out some. Sad but true.

And I've got homework to catch up on. Homework on a snow day! Isn't that lovely?

Hm...I ought to go eat. I forgot to, and I got up, what, four hours ago? XD

Some birthday shout outs!

I was going to do this yesterday, but I didn't have enough time, what with homework and all, so here I am now!

HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY, DAVID BOWIE!!!! (His birthday was on the 8th.)
David Bowie
(One of my earliest musical memories is watching The Labrynth when I was little. I think that was the first movie I ever saw.XD My mom loves Bowie.)
HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY, JIMMY PAGE!!!! (His birthday was yesterday, the 9th.)

(I hereby declare Jimmy Page a GOD!)
Love you guys. ^_^

And, also, since I probably won't have time to post it tomorrow (I'm going to a party. See? I DO have a life!), here's this week's video.

HA! I make you suffer like I suffered!!! BUAHAHA! Headaches for all.

(I can't choose between the two.XD)

Anyway, I love you all. <3 I've gotta go do my homework.

Sweeney Todd and utter cruelty

Sweeney Todd
"There's a hole in the world like a great, black pit
And the vermin of the world inhabit it
And its morals aren't worth what a pig could spit
And it goes by the name of London."

Yep. I went to go see Sweeney Todd. It was fantastic. I'm not sure if I want to see it again, though: I got sick to my stomache. So, if you have a strong stomache (or if you're like me and you're willing to turn your head at really gore-y points for the sake of seeing a good film), GO SEE IT. Keep in mind, though: it's rated R for a reason.

Oh, and I have to go back to school on Tuesday. David Bowie's birthday. I should stay home for "religious reasons," like I was tempted to do on Freddie's birthday. And Keith Moon's. And Robert Plant's. Not to mention Jimmy Page's birthday is the day after Bowie's...Huh..wonder if I could get away with that?

And now for the cruelty bit! XD I forget if I've written it on here or not, but since a little bit before Thanksgiving, I've gone vegetarian. Not vegan, although I'd like to maybe do that in the future, but vegetarian. Anyway, my mom said earlier today that she had fried chicken. -_- The woman's trying to kill me. At least she was nice enough not to cook it while I was home, but the plate's still in the kitchen. STARING AT ME. The whole house smells like fried chicken.

My body is trying to die.

Pete Townshend

Pete Townshend
First, go watch this:

...Or atleast just listen to the song. ^_^

That is by Pete Townshend. Since I've heard of Pete, I've admired him as a songwriter, but mainly just knew that he was the guitarist of The Who, one of my favorite bands in the history of EVER, along with The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. (Queen is in its own category above all else. Kookookachoo...Haven't said that in a while.XD I am SO the walrus.) But recently, I've been realizing what a genius Pete is. Before, I hadn't paid him very much notice: I was too busy being loony over Moonie and admiring the scenery that is Roger Daltrey. I thought before that Pete was a good guitarist, but not my favorite: I started listening to his licks more closely recently, and I've never heard anything like it before. Not to mention, as a songwriter, he is absolute and utter genius. I had thought that before, but I guess I never really appreciated it. Tommy is, on the outside, campy and corny, but if you think about it for just about two seconds, there is so much more to it than the outside plot. (If you're like me and you're watching the movie, you might want to close your eyes whilst trying to find deeper meaning: Daltrey, especially in the scenes where he has no shirt, can prove to be quite distracting. *cough*) He comes up with concepts that nobody else understands, aka Lifehouse, and I would love to sit and pick his brain over sometime, just to try and even get an inkling of what goes on in his head. He's brilliant. He really is.

Yes. I am a fan.

Besides, if you could find someone what can destroy as many guitars as he has, I will pay you to tell me who that someone is.

So, yep. I like Pete Townshend. A lot.

Video of the Week

Yes. It's early again. I'm spoiling you, aren't I? XD

Yes, another Youtuber. This one, I don't know. But I think this video is pretty groovy. XD I SO just said that in a Dr. Evil accent.

First Post of 2008!

The Roger Daltrey Dance
(I had to share that.XD)
Happy New Year, all! ^_^ I tried to come on yesterday to say it, but my internet was acting up...Surprise, surprise.

And, to kick off the new year, I'm going to talk about something that nobody really cares about!!!:D I had a dream (when I was young, a dream of sweet illusion. A glimpse of hope and unity, and visions of love's sweet union...*ahem* Sorry.)ANYWAY! I had a dream last night, and, in it, I spent the night in a zeppelin. 'Twas awesome. But also, I got to take part with some people in a talent show at a fair somewhere. I don't remember all of the acts, but I *do* remember Danny being there. He was wearing a yellow sweatshirt ("She threatened to kill me if I didn't wear it," he said, shooting me a shifty look while I tried my best to look innocent.), and was too nervous to perform, for whatever reason. Well, I had been more of a manager than anything: I was running the show, and I kept everything in order. But, so he wouldn't have to perform alone, I went up with him, and we dueted to "Say It's Not True."

XD That was much better than my first dream last night: one of my best friends had been after me to kill me, and she caught me. O_O

Hm...I don't know of what else to blog about. I thought I could maybe post something special for New Year's, but I can't think of anything. I'm so creative.

Anyway! Happy new year, I wish you health, wealth, prosperity, all that jazz, and I'll see you around! ^_^ (Not literally...I'm not stalking you...I'm not THAT creepy.)
